World Owl Day 2025 in Massimeno

The 2025 edition was held on August 4 and 5 in Massimeno, Val Rendena. On Monday, August 4, at 5:00 PM, the "Hear Who's Singing" workshop for children focused on bird songs; at 9:00 PM, the conference "The Secret Life of Owls" with Marco Mastrorilli took place, followed by a night excursion in the woods. On Tuesday, August 5, at 10:00 AM, the photography exhibition "The Little Owl: Fairy of the Night" was inaugurated in the square, followed by guided birdwatching in the village woods. The initiative, promoted by the Gruppo Italiano Civette with the Municipality of Massimeno and the Pro Loco, reaffirmed the small Trentino village's commitment to nature education and the protection of nocturnal birds of prey.
