Edition 2025 — 3+3 Days Sicily Pantelleria

In May 2025, the World Orienteering Week took place globally, the largest international movement dedicated to orienteering, which involves tens of thousands of participants every year in hundreds of events across numerous nations. It is within this context that the project for the Sicilian stage, the 3+3 Days of Pantelleria, was developed, debuting in 2026.

The 2025 context

The World Orienteering Week 2025 was held in May as a major international orienteering event, bringing together athletes, clubs, and schools from numerous nations around hundreds of widespread events. This global movement, created to increase the visibility and accessibility of the discipline, forms the framework for the Pantelleria project.

It is precisely in the wake of this international edition that the first Sicilian stage on the island of Pantelleria, in the province of Trapani, took shape: the 3+3 Days Sicily Pantelleria, which debuted in May 2026 under the patronage of the Municipality of Pantelleria, bringing international orienteering to the island's volcanic landscapes for the first time.
