World Gota Festival

In 2025, the World Gota Festival confirmed its tried-and-tested formula in the hamlet of Lama. The absolute star was the 'gota', the pork jowl cured according to local tradition, served at the food stands with pasta alla carbonara, amatriciana, and other Umbrian dishes. The evenings were enlivened by dance orchestras starting at 9 PM, while the traditional MotoGota rally brought together motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts. Organized by the World Gota Festival Committee, the event continues to be one of the most beloved gastronomic events in the Upper Tiber Valley.
