Edition 2025 — Youth Climbing World Championships

In 2025, the IFSC Youth World Championships for sport climbing were held in Helsinki, Finland, from July 28 to August 3. Over 600 young athletes under 17 and 19 from all over the world competed in the three disciplines of Lead, Speed, and Boulder, ahead of the prestigious event's return to Arco, Trentino, in the summer of 2026.

The 2025 edition of the premier youth world event for sport climbing took place in Helsinki, Finland, from July 28 to August 3. Over 600 athletes in the Under 17 and Under 19 categories took part in the 34th edition of the IFSC Youth World Championships, competing in the three disciplines of Lead, Speed, and Boulder.

The Lead and Speed competitions were held at the KiipeilyAreena Ristikko, the largest climbing gym in Northern Europe, while the Boulder events took place at the Helsingin Kiipeilykeskus. The event concluded on August 3 with the Speed finals. The baton has now been passed to Arco, in Trentino, which is set to host the 2026 edition from July 18 to 25.
