World Chili Pepper Fair - Rieti Cuore Piccante

The 2025 edition in Rieti

From August 29 to September 7, 2025, the historic center of Rieti hosted the fourteenth World Chili Pepper Fair, the first edition structured over ten days instead of the short format of its origins. Over 180 food and commercial stalls occupied squares and alleys, with an exhibition that brought together approximately 700 varieties of chili peppers from all over the world.

Six countries participated with official delegations from their respective embassies: Angola, Ecuador, Morocco, Mexico, Hungary, and Vietnam. The program alternated food and wine, cooking shows, tastings, conferences, exhibitions, and spaces dedicated to art.

On the Piazza Mazzini stage, artists such as Mr. Rain, Fred De Palma, Aka 7even, radio formats like Lo Zoo di 105 and Disco Mania, Fabio Rovazzi, Sarah Toscano, Mietta, Leo Gassmann, and The Kolors performed, with free admission. Organizers and trade associations reported a record attendance for the Rieti event.
