Edition 2025 — Women's Palio Marinaro
The 2025 edition of the Women's Palio Marinaro of Castiglione della Pescaia, the 26th in its history, was dedicated to the memory of Sonia Andrei, a figure closely linked to the local rowing tradition. The race, originally scheduled for the previous Sunday, was postponed due to rough seas and sirocco winds and was held on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
On the approximately 1,800-meter course, the Castello district triumphed with a clearly superior performance. Behind them were Piazza, the defending champion, followed by Ponte, Portaccia, and Marina. The event once again confirmed the community's strong bond with its maritime tradition.
