Edition 2025 — Wolf's Mass

The 2025 edition of the Wolf's Mass took place in Forno di Valstrona on Saturday, February 15, officiated by Father Gaudenzio Martini, head of the parish of Saints Peter and Paul. The day opened in the afternoon with a conference titled "About the Wolf" featuring historians, farmers, and representatives of the rural world, followed by the evening mass with the blessing of the cowbells.

The 2025 edition of the Wolf's Mass in Forno, a village in Valstrona (VB), was held on Saturday, February 15, 2025. The celebration was officiated by Father Gaudenzio Martini, head of the parish of Saints Peter and Paul.

At 3:00 PM, a conference titled "About the Wolf" took place, with the participation of local historians, farmers, and representatives of rural protection organizations, dedicated to the return of the predator to the Strona Valley. This was followed by the evening mass with the display of the relic of Saint Valentine and the blessing of the cowbells. As in previous editions, the event filled the church with worshippers, sparking both great participation and some controversy from animal rights associations.
