Wild Strawberry Festival 2025: the 60th edition
The 2025 edition of the Wild Strawberry (and Mountain) Festival took place on Sunday, July 27, 2025, on the Renga Plateau above Capistrello (AQ), reaching the milestone of the 60th edition. The event, managed by the Pro Loco of Capistrello, confirmed its traditional formula: at 11:00 AM, open-air Holy Mass, and from the afternoon (4:00 PM), a rich program of festivities with popular games, including "soapy soccer" and a bubble-blowing contest, bouncy castles for children, live music, and numerous food stalls.
The star, as always, was the plateau's wild strawberry, celebrated in the spirit of promoting the mountains and their folkloric and culinary traditions. For the occasion, the Municipality regulated vehicle parking along the access road to the Piani della Renga, up to the area of the Cappella degli Alpini, with a specific ordinance.
