Edition 2025 — White Night of Cultures
The 2025 Festival of Cultures, predecessor to the White Night
The White Night of Cultures debuted in 2026: in 2025, its direct predecessor was the Festival of Cultures, the L'Aquila series dedicated to multiculturalism promoted by the L'Aquila Film Festival association with the patronage of the Department of Human Sciences of the University of L'Aquila.
The 2025 edition was held from May 6 to June 3, with a month of events in the center of L'Aquila. Active protagonists were the young foreigners living in the Abruzzo capital, with a staff coming from four continents. Events included film screenings, meetings, and the concert of the Piazza Palazzo Policultural Orchestra, in a participatory journey dedicated to dialogue between communities and diversity that paved the way for the first White Night of Cultures in 2026.
