White Marble Marathon 2025
The 2025 edition of the White Marble Marathon took place in Marina di Carrara over the weekend of February 15 and 16, with the competitive race held on Sunday, February 16. It was a record-breaking edition for the Carrara race, with approximately 2,000 participants from over twenty nations and a 40% increase compared to the previous year.
Four distances were on the program: the 42 km marathon, the 30 km Marble Hero, the 21 km half marathon, and the 10 km "per Davide". The flat and fast track ran along the promenade between Marina di Carrara, Marina di Massa, and Montignoso, reaching Forte dei Marmi, with the Apuan Alps and marble quarries as a backdrop.
