White Carrara

The 2025 edition of White Carrara, titled Design Here and Now, was held from June 13th to September 28th in the historic center of Carrara, Tuscany, under the artistic direction of Domenico Raimondi. The festival celebrated contemporaneity through original works born from the encounter between design vision and marble craftsmanship, with the participation of about thirty Italian and international designers, including Karim Rashid, Ross Lovegrove, Elena Salmistraro, Giulio Iacchetti, and Emiliana Martinelli.

Among the novelties of the edition was the establishment of the White Carrara International Award, aimed at designers under 35 and established professionals for the design of marble urban furniture elements, with the winning works destined to become permanent city heritage. The mudaC — Carrara Arts Museum also hosted the exhibition Vincenzo Marsiglia. Stars and Dust.
