Wheat Harvesting and Threshing Re-enactment

The 21st edition of the Threshing Festival of Alanno was held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in the Contrada Oratorio, organized by the Circolo Oratorio Alanno as a tribute to the ancient rural traditions of the area.

The day began at 8:00 AM with the registration of participants and the tractor gathering, followed by the parade through the village; at 11:00 AM, the blessing of the tractors took place. At 1:30 PM, lunch was served at the local trattorias Pallant and Nobile Casato, featuring pasta alla chitarra, arrosticini, and traditional desserts accompanied by local wine, at a cost of 28 euros per person. The afternoon was enlivened by games, entertainment, musical performances, and dancing, while the evening concluded with dancing in the square.
