Welcome Festival

The 2025 edition of the Welcome Festival took place in Roseto Valfortore on Thursday, July 24, and Friday, July 25, confirming the Monti Dauni village's commitment to hospitality for Rosetani scattered across the globe. The event, included in the Roseto Rosae project and following the path of roots tourism, combined civic, religious, and musical moments in the heart of the town, in the province of Foggia.

The special guest of the final evening was Mirko Casadei, son of the legendary Raoul, on tour for the 70th anniversary of Romagna Mia: a personal connection to Roseto, where his parents met as young teachers. The festival thus intertwined the great tradition of ballroom music with the intimate memory of the Rosetani community.

Thursday, July 24

• 18:00 — Inaugural ceremony with street art and painting for children, curated by the Academy of Fine Arts of Foggia
• 21:30 — 6th edition of "Fermenti della Valle del Fortore" in Piazza Bartolomeo, with the cover band Beat Rock

Friday, July 25

• 18:30 — Open-air Holy Mass
• Following — Official "Welcome and Cordiality" ceremony at the Town Hall, greeting Rosetani around the world
• Evening — Concert by Mirko Casadei and Big Band in Piazza Bartolomeo (70 years of "Romagna Mia")
• Night — DJ set with DJ Nika at Terrazza Paduli
