Wine takes centre stage in Muggiò

When autumn arrives, Muggiò — a Municipality in the Province of Monza and Brianza — dedicates an entire weekend to wine culture with Weekend diVINO. The event, organised by the Pro Loco città di Muggiò (local tourism association) together with the Municipality, offers a presentation and free tasting of selected wines and sparkling wines, designed for both enthusiasts and the merely curious.

Meet the Producers

The first day takes place in the Civic Hall of Palazzo Isimbardi, where producers share the history of their wineries and products, accompanying the tasting with light refreshments. It's a precious opportunity to get to know the winemakers up close and discover territories and grape varieties through the words of those who cultivate them.

The Tasting at Villa Casati

The highlight is the grand tasting in the Courtyard of Villa Casati, called 'Grand Cru', featuring wines and sparkling wines from various Italian regions, with a gastronomic service to complement the glasses. In recent editions, admission involved a modest contribution for individual days or a package for the entire weekend. Now in its multiple editions, Weekend diVINO is a well-established event on Muggiò's calendar, successfully combining oenological passion with the pleasure of a quality event in the heart of Brianza.
