Edition 2025 — We Are The Boat

We Are The Boat is a project conceived by Milena Andrade and promoted by Women Sailing Leaders, designed to make sailing more accessible to women on Lake Maggiore. The Lesa event, which weaves together sailing, culture, and a commitment to gender equality, saw its first public affirmation in the following season: there are no documented editions of the event in the Novara municipality for 2025.

We Are The Boat was born as a project dedicated to women's sailing on Lake Maggiore, conceived by Milena Andrade and promoted by Women Sailing Leaders. The underlying idea is to offer women and girls with no nautical experience the opportunity to approach navigation and regattas in a context that combines sport, culture, and social connection.

For the 2025 season, there are no documented editions of the event in Lesa, in the province of Novara, Piedmont: the event found its place in the spring-summer calendar of the lakeside municipality starting from the following edition, on the waterfront overlooking Lake Maggiore.
