Watermelon Festival

The 2025 Watermelon Festival enlivened San Martino Spino, a hamlet of Mirandola (MO), from August 22 to 25 with four evenings of fun and flavors from the Bassa Modenese. The kitchen opened every evening at 7:30 PM, offering specialties such as maccheroni al pettine from the Mirandola valleys and cappellacci di zucca with traditional ragù.

The musical program featured different evenings: the DJ set on Friday, the 90s Rewind show on Saturday, the concert by the tribute band Harley Max (883) on Sunday, and cover bands on Monday, before the traditional pyromusical show to close the festival. On Sunday, the Vespa and Fiat 500 rally took place, while the funfair, raffle, and stalls were open throughout the festival. The free watermelon offered to all attendees was, as always, a highlight.
