Edition 2025 — Water Wheels

In 2025, the Casentino Ecomuseum once again joined the European Historic Mills Days with the "Water Wheels" initiative, opening the valley's ancient water mills, including those in the Teggina Valley in Raggiolo. Through hikes, guided tours, and convivial moments, the event offered a journey to discover the Casentino's hydraulic heritage and the knowledge related to grain and chestnut milling.

In May 2025, the Casentino participated in the European Historic Mills Days with the Water Wheels project, curated by the Casentino Ecomuseum and local associations, including the Brigata di Raggiolo.

In Raggiolo, in the municipality of Ortignano Raggiolo (AR), the weekend was dedicated to the mills of the Teggina Valley, with hikes along the transhumance trails and the promotion of the Mulino di Morino, in an itinerary that combined nature, history, and the rural tradition of the Pratomagno.
