Wandering Poetry Festival - Words and the Road

Poetic Gathering: the seventh edition

The seventh edition of the Wandering Poetry Festival, titled "Words and the Road - Poetic Gathering," took place in San Donato di Lecce and Galugnano from September 11th to 18th, 2025. The festival, promoted by the Presìdio del Libro and the municipal administration with the collaboration of Artenoa, ACT Salento, and the "Gino Perrone" Library, brought the town's small squares and churches to life with open-air evenings.

Among the guests, poet Giuseppe Goffredo opened the festival on Via Milano with an unpublished poem about the tragedy in Gaza, in dialogue with Antonio Errico and accompanied by the guitar of Elia Dell'Anna. Subsequent evenings featured the participation of Spanish poet JoanRA Llados with Leo Luceri, poets Cosimo Rodia and Daniele Giancane in the Baroque Church of the Annunziata in Galugnano, and Mauro Marino at the municipal library.

2025 Program

• Thursday, September 11th - Via Milano Square, San Donato: Giuseppe Goffredo (poem on the tragedy in Gaza) and Antonio Errico on the book "Cadere nutre la terra," with guitar by Elia Dell'Anna.
• Friday, September 12th - Via Milano Square: Leo Luceri in dialogue with Spanish poet JoanRA Llados.
• Wednesday, September 17th - Church of the Annunziata, Galugnano: Cosimo Rodia and Daniele Giancane in dialogue with Carlo Alberto Augeri.
• Thursday, September 18th - "Gino Perrone" Library, Via Roma: Mauro Marino presents "Poesie della vicinanza" with Giuseppe Zilli.
