Edition 2025 — Walser Häpfla Fest

The seventh edition of the Walser Häpfla Fest was held on September 27 and 28, 2025, in the Valdo Festival Area, Formazza. Two days dedicated to the Walser potato, featuring gnocchi prepared by hand by local women, a market of traditional products, and the opening of the evocative Walser Houses, where visitors were able to dine in traditional wooden stube.

Walser Häpfla Fest 2025 — 7th edition

The 2025 edition of the Walser Häpfla Fest took place on September 27 and 28 in the Valdo Festival Area, in Formazza (VB), organized by the Pro Loco of Formazza. The festival brought back the successful format of previous editions: the Open Walser Houses evening, with dinners in traditional stube, and the festival day featuring Walser potato gnocchi prepared by hand.

There was also a market of local food and artisanal products, as well as moments dedicated to exploring Walser traditions and the cultivation of mountain potatoes, a true identity symbol of Val Formazza.
