Edition 2025 — Walking the Monferrato in Moncestino
The 2025 edition of the Moncestino stage of Walking the Monferrato was held on Sunday, April 27, included in the rich spring calendar of the series that touches numerous villages in the Asti and Casale Monferrato areas between April and May.
As per tradition, the meeting point was in Piazza Marconi in Moncestino for route no. 744 'On the Trails of the Resistance', a tourist-difficulty loop through woods, hamlets, and places of partisan memory, with the ascent to the Rocca di Coggia and final refreshments provided by the Pro Loco. The initiative is promoted by the Monferrato municipalities, the Sacro Monte di Crea Special Reserve, and the CAI sections of Asti and Casale.
