Walk Among the Calanchi

The 2025 Walk Among the Calanchi was held on Sunday, May 11, confirming the early May tradition that brings hikers and enthusiasts into the heart of the Valle dei Calanchi in Bagnoregio, in the province of Viterbo. Organized by the Pro Loco of Bagnoregio with the Municipality and the Geological and Landslide Museum, the outing offered a walk through ridges, valleys, and panoramas of the "dying city," accompanied by explanations from a geological guide regarding the erosion and landslide phenomena that shape the landscape. In this edition as well, the walk combined nature discovery with the pleasure of walking together in one of the most evocative settings in Lazio.
