Edition 2025 — Waiting for the Barbarossa

In 2025, Waiting for the Barbarossa accompanied the 63rd Barbarossa Festival (held from June 11 to 15, 2025) with the traditional lead-up events in May. Between San Quirico d'Orcia and Bagno Vignoni, the town's districts offered open-air dinners, live music, gastronomic events, and medieval initiatives, warming up the atmosphere ahead of the grand historical re-enactment in June.

The 2025 edition of Waiting for the Barbarossa was part of the lead-up calendar to the 63rd Barbarossa Festival, held in San Quirico d'Orcia from June 11 to 15, 2025. The May evenings, animated by the town's districts, featured open-air dinners, live music, gastronomic events, and medieval initiatives between the historic center and the hamlet of Bagno Vignoni.

As per tradition, the event strengthened the community spirit that characterizes the re-enactment, offering residents and visitors a convivial preview of the rituals and flavors of the Val d'Orcia.
