Edition 2025 — Waiting for Christmas

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Piazza Umberto I in Civitaquana hosted the fifth edition of "Waiting for Christmas," starting at 10:00 AM. A free-entry day organized by the Pro Loco Civitaquana, featuring craft markets, a Christmas village, and a food area with chestnuts and mulled wine. In the afternoon, the magic show by Mago Ithan took place at 3:00 PM, followed by the arrival of Santa Claus at 4:30 PM to collect children's letters, and live music by the Mr No Money Band, culminating in the lighting of the famous crochet tree.

The fifth edition of "Waiting for Christmas" took place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Piazza Umberto I in Civitaquana, in the province of Pescara, starting at 10:00 AM with free admission.

The square was transformed into a Christmas village with craft markets and a food area full of specialties such as roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. The program alternated moments for all ages: at 3:00 PM, the magic show with Mago Ithan, at 4:30 PM, the arrival of Santa Claus to collect children's letters, and live music by the Mr No Money Band. To crown the day, the lighting of the crochet Christmas tree, now a symbol of the event organized by the Pro Loco Civitaquana with the patronage of the Municipality.

Programme

10:00 AM: Opening of craft markets, Christmas village, and food area (chestnuts, mulled wine, traditional dishes). 3:00 PM: Magic show with Mago Ithan. 4:30 PM: Arrival of Santa Claus to collect letters. Live music with the Mr No Money Band. Lighting of the crochet Christmas tree.
