10 years of Waiting for Christmas #TogetherIsBetter

The tenth edition took place on December 6 and 7, 2025, at Palazzo Burri Gatti, on Corso Vittorio Emanuele in L'Aquila, organized by the Bandierai dei Quattro Quarti Historical Association under the patronage of the Municipality of L'Aquila.

Saturday, December 6: Opening of the Christmas markets and the "Christmas Ball 10.0" exhibition (decorations featuring the city's symbols) at 10:00 AM, the "Quattro Quarti Bingo" prize game, the arrival of Babbo Bandieraio with the collection of letters in the afternoon, children's entertainment (face painting, giant bubbles, juggling, storytelling), and in the evening, a historical parade and roving performances.

Sunday, December 7: Continuation of the markets, a free beeswax candle-making workshop, the interactive fairy tale "The Musicians of L'Aquila", the return of Babbo Bandieraio with gifts, entertainment with balloon sculpting and creative workshops, closing with a musical moment and a collective toast.

A weekend of tradition, creativity, and fun that united the historic center and the local associations of L'Aquila, in Abruzzo.

• 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM — AnimalnAzione entertainment: face painting, giant bubbles, juggling, and storytelling
• 7:00 PM — Historical parade and roving performances with flag-wavers, drummers, and trumpeters

• 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM — Interactive fairy tale "The Musicians of L'Aquila", narrated by Giuseppe Tomei and Federico Colapicchioni
• 3:30 PM — Return of Babbo Bandieraio with gift delivery
• 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM — Flavia Animazione entertainment: balloon sculpting, creative workshops, and soap bubbles
• 7:00 PM — Musical moment with Elena Emidea de Simone and closing collective toast

On both days, a bar area (Disorder Public House) was active with hot chocolate, Spritz, and coffee.
