Waiting for Christmas – Pro Loco Advent Calendar

The 2025 edition

The second edition of Waiting for Christmas confirmed the format of the widespread Advent calendar in the municipality of Torcegno. About thirty families and private citizens, together with the local kindergarten and the CS4 Social Cooperative, created Christmas decorations and illuminated windows displayed along the village streets and on the board in the square.

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, the afternoon in Piazza Maggiore unveiled the sixth decoration of the calendar, a wooden Christmas tree set up by the Pro Loco. The celebration was enriched by family Christmas readings by Nati per Leggere volunteers, melodies performed by a group of young musicians, and a tasting of handmade cookies by the volunteers.

The festive journey concluded on the afternoon of Epiphany with a magic show, soap bubbles, and the arrival of the Befana with small gifts for the children.
