The 2025 edition of the Vrache di Mulo Festival was held in Palombaro (province of Chieti, Abruzzo) on August 2, 3, and 4, organized by the historic Trattoria Dal Pagano on Via Pagani.
The absolute star was the village's signature dish, vrache di mulo, served alongside traditional Abruzzese specialties: arrosticini, pallotte cacio e ove, fried pizza, wild boar stew, homemade desserts, and local wines. The three evenings were enlivened by live folk music and the convivial atmosphere of a village festival at the foot of the Majella.
