Votive Feast of the Holy Cross

In 2025, the community of Bagnone gathered once again around the Holy Cross to renew its secular vow. The preparatory triduum, with the Rosary, Vespers, and Holy Masses, preceded the solemnity of May 3rd. In the afternoon, a Pontifical Mass was celebrated at the Prepositural Church of San Nicolò, followed by a procession through the streets of the historic center and the blessing with the ancient Relic of the Cross. Municipal authorities, volunteer associations, and the citizenry took part in the celebration, an event that confirms the Holy Cross as the heart of Bagnone's identity in Lunigiana.
