Burning of March 2025
The 2025 edition of the Vorprennen in Martzo was held on Saturday, March 1, in Luserna. The program started in the late afternoon with a gathering and refreshments, followed by a procession through the village streets with horns and cowbells to "call" for spring.
The highlight was the lighting of the great bonfire on the Kraütz hill, above the village, accompanied by traditional songs and dances of the Cimbrian community. A heartfelt event that confirmed the vitality of this ancient custom in the small Trentino village.
