The 27th Volata Napola-Mokarta

The 2025 edition of the Volata Napola-Mokarta, the twenty-seventh, was held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in the village of Napola, in the municipality of Erice (TP). Organized by G.S.D. La Volata with the patronage of the Municipality of Erice, it attracted over 250 athletes.

In the 10 km international race, Daniele Meucci (C.S. Esercito) prevailed in 29'41", a former European marathon champion (Zurich 2014), achieving his second victory in Napola after his 2008 win. On the podium were Burundians Louis Intunzinzi (29'42") and Thierry Irakoze (29'43"). Among the Italians, Vincenzo Guerra of the Sicilia Running Team stood out.

The amateur race over 7,240 meters was won by Lorenzo Lotti in 24'35", ahead of Michele Galfano and Nicolò Soffietto. A day of great sport that confirmed the international prestige of one of the classics of Sicilian road running.
