Volano Children's Carnival 2025 — 66th edition

The 2025 edition confirmed the Volano Carnival as one of the most anticipated events in the Vallagarina valley. The absolute highlight was the parade of large papier-mâché allegorical floats, accompanied by costumed groups, music, and choreography along the streets of the municipality of Volano, in the province of Trento.

The traditional events that characterize the festival were all present: the Alpini pasta feast, the Mascherissima competition reserved for children in costume, and food stalls featuring specialties such as spit-roasted bull, mulled wine, and apple fritters, as well as gluten-free options. A popular, colorful, and well-attended festival that kept the long tradition of the Volano carnival alive.
