Edition 2025 — Voci in Ascolto

The third edition of Voci in Ascolto took place from June 4 to 8, 2025, in San Vito dei Normanni, featuring workshops led by Davide Ambrogio, Giulia Prete, and Albert Hera, talks with Marco Lutzu, and two public concerts at the Cripta di San Biagio and the Teatro Tex, concluding with a participants' concert and a final party.

Voci in Ascolto 2025 — third edition

The third edition of the residency was held in San Vito dei Normanni from June 4 to 8, 2025, between the ExFadda's Teatro Tex and the Cripta di San Biagio. Workshops dedicated to voice and traditional singing were led by Davide Ambrogio, Giulia Prete, and Albert Hera, supported by thematic talks with ethnomusicologist Marco Lutzu.

The public program brought the Arbëreshë voices of Vushë Grash, the research group Totarella, and the ensembles Adilei and Duo d'altrocanto to the stage, in a journey of listening between Southern Italy, the Balkans, and choral traditions. A scholarship fully covered accommodation, meals, and activities for two young singers under 30.

  • Totarella — musical research group on the heritage of Central-Southern Italy (admission €10)

Sunday, June 8 — ExFadda

  • Final participants' concert, 6:00 PM (free)
  • Final party, 7:00 PM (free)

Highlights

The June 7 concert at the Teatro Tex with the Arbëreshë voices of Vushë Grash and the Totarella group, and the final party on June 8 with the residency singers.
