Edition 2025 — Voci a Pitigliano

In 2025, the Municipality of Pitigliano launched the "Pitigliano Turismo" project, the participatory initiative from which Voci a Pitigliano was born. Through a survey addressed to citizens, the creation of thematic working groups, and initial meetings with mayors of small Tuscan towns, the Maremma village began to question the effects of hit-and-run tourism and short-term rentals on its historic center, laying the foundations for a new model of hospitality.

2025 represented the preparatory phase of the project that would later give life to Voci a Pitigliano. With the "Pitigliano Turismo" initiatives, the Municipality of Pitigliano, in the Maremma region of Grosseto, promoted a process of listening and participation for residents: surveys, thematic working groups, and discussions with administrators of small Tuscan towns.

From this work emerged the keywords — listening, awareness, happiness, and directionality — around which the series of meetings and performances was later built. A year of collective reflection on the future of hospitality in one of the most evocative villages in Tuscany.
