Edition 2025 — Vivaio

The third edition of Vivaio took place in Terlizzi from July 18th to 20th, 2025, bringing contemporary drama to the Spazi S.E.R.R.E. and other unconventional city locations. Three days of site-specific performances, shows, and music, concluding on Sunday, July 20th, with the play «Madri» and an electronic concert by Indian Wells, featuring artist talks and an audience invited to become part of the scene.

The third edition of Vivaio – Cultivating Theatre in the City was held in Terlizzi (Bari) from July 18th to 20th, 2025, confirming the formula of contemporary theatre in the Spazi S.E.R.R.E. and other rediscovered urban sites, under the artistic direction of Michele Altamura.

The final day, Sunday, July 20th, offered an evening journey: at 7:00 PM, the performance-banquet Déjà vu | Terlizzi directed by Alessandro Businaro, with Ilaria Martinelli and Tano Mongelli; at 9:30 PM, the play Madri, written by Diego Pleuteri and directed by Alice Sinigaglia, exploring family relationships and identity, performed by Valentina Picello and Vito Vicino (winner of the 2022 Eurodram award); at 11:00 PM, the closing party with a concert by Indian Wells, one of the European leaders in electronic music, in collaboration with Secolare Festival.

The festival, promoted by VicoQuartoMazzini and the Zorba Social Cooperative with the patronage of the Municipality of Terlizzi, was supported by the MiC and SIAE as part of the «Per chi crea» programme, with Rai Radio3 as media partner.
