Viva il Carnevale 2025
On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Ceglie Messapica celebrated its Carnival with the "Viva il Carnevale" event, promoted by the Pro Loco with the patronage of the Municipality. From the morning, the little ones were able to ride the "wonder train", which operated in two shifts between morning and afternoon with music and entertainment.
In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, the masked group parade departed from Villa Cento Pini to wind through the city streets up to Piazza Plebiscito. Here, the second part of the day began with the "Genkidama Cartoon Band", a show dedicated to cartoons from the 70s to the 2000s, from Cartoon Network characters to Disney ones, accompanied by mascots, stilt walkers, jugglers, soap bubbles, and magic. There was no shortage of prizes for the most original and representative costumes, in a day of celebration dedicated especially to families and children.
