The 2025 edition, within the Emigrant Festival

The second edition of «Viti, Visi, Vini» took place in Montefalcone di Val Fortore, in the province of Benevento, on August 9th and 10th, 2025, as part of the Emigrant Festival calendar, the event that has marked the August of Fortore villages and the summer return of emigrants for over forty years.

The main event was the tasting of local products set up in the halls of the Museum of Peasant Civilization in the Fortore Area, in the center of the village: a choice of venue consistent with the idea that underpins the entire event, namely to create a dialogue between today's wines and the tools and objects of yesterday's peasant life. The local press reported wide participation, speaking of a great success for the initiative of the Pro Loco Montefalcone di Val Fortore APS.

The year 2025 thus confirmed what had already emerged in the first edition, in August 2024, when the Pro Loco had presented «Viti, visi e vini» as a project for the rediscovery of traditions to be put at the service of the village's future. On this basis, the expanded program of 2026 was built, reaching three days and a more extensive network of partners.
