Edition 2025 — VinItala

The fifth edition of VinItala took place in June 2025 in the Croce district of Itala, in the province of Messina. In 2025, the event once again offered three evenings dedicated to the wines of the Valle Monte Scuderi, with Mamertino DOC as the star, traditional Sicilian street food, and live music between the churchyard of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul and Largo Badia.

The 2025 edition of VinItala confirmed the formula in Itala (Messina) that has made the event a highly anticipated start-of-summer appointment: three nights of tastings of Valle Monte Scuderi wines, paired with farm-to-table local products and traditional Messina cuisine.

In 2025, the village of the Croce district hosted live music, entertainment, and the promotion of Mamertino DOC, one of the oldest wines in Sicily, under the direction of the Pro Loco Giovannello da Itala and in the evocative setting of the Arab-Norman Church of Saints Peter and Paul.
