Edition 2025 — Vini d'Abbazia

The fourth edition of Vini d'Abbazia was held from June 6 to 8, 2025, at Fossanova Abbey in Priverno, in the province of Latina. Over thirty wineries from Italian and foreign abbeys, secular producers linked to monastic sites, and consortia presented rare and historic wines at the tasting stands set up in the medieval cloister, accompanied by masterclasses, conferences, and a Food & Wine Village dedicated to the excellence of the Pontine territory.

Vini d'Abbazia 2025: the fourth edition

From June 6 to 8, 2025, Fossanova Abbey, in the municipality of Priverno (LT), hosted the fourth edition of Vini d'Abbazia, the event dedicated to the monastic winemaking tradition. Over thirty exhibitors—Italian and international monastic wineries, producers linked to places of worship, and local consortia—brought rare wines to the medieval cloister, wines guarded for centuries by Italian and French religious communities.

From 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the tasting stands animated the cloister, accompanied by a Food & Wine Village dedicated to local culinary excellence, while the Refectory hosted masterclasses and debates on slow production and the agronomic knowledge of ancient abbeys.

The 2025 edition was included in the regional project «Le Vie del Giubileo» (The Jubilee Paths), which networked spiritual sites in Lazio for the Holy Year, strengthening the link between the event, the Cistercian heritage of Fossanova, and the nearby Circeo National Park.
