2025 Siccagno Tomato and Lentil Festival
The 2025 edition took place on August 23, 2025, in Villalba (Caltanissetta), marking the 41st edition of the Tomato Festival and the 24th of the Lentil Festival. The event, organized by the Municipality of Villalba, allowed visitors to taste the two Villalba gems: the siccagno tomato and the Villalba Lentil, a Slow Food Presidium.
With food stalls, local products, and markets, the festival was part of the rich 'Estate Villalbese' program, which enlivened the village with events and musical shows during the late August evenings. The municipal administration provided exhibition stands for local farms to promote regional products, confirming the festival's commitment to enhancing the local rural economy.
