Savignano Irpino and the 2025 night of wishes

In 2025, the municipality of Savignano Irpino, in the province of Avellino, was once again among the Campanian villages participating in "Village of Wishes", the national initiative of the I Borghi più belli d'Italia association, held every year on August 10th, on the night of St. Lawrence.

The formula is the one shared by all participating villages: from sunset to dawn, while the Perseids pass through the sky, visitors walk through the historic center, write a wish on a note, and entrust it to the place indicated by the community, which could be a well, a fountain, or a secret garden. In Savignano Irpino, the reference point is the Fontana Angelica, the "fountain of the ducks" that is the symbol of the town.

The 2025 event was part of the Savignano summer calendar, among festivals, patronal feasts, and evenings in the square, confirming a participation that the Irpinian village has been carrying out for several years now.
