Villa Lais Legge — The City of Books

The fifth edition of Villa Lais Legge — The City of Books took place in May 2025 in the gardens of Villa Lais, in Rome's Appio Latino/Tuscolano district. As per the festival's tradition, the Municipio VII park was transformed for a few days into an open-air cultural hub, featuring book presentations, readings, workshops, and meetings between Italian authors and independent publishers.

The initiative, organized by the Blue Room bookstore together with the CrunchEd association and Tab Edizioni with the support of Municipio VII, reaffirmed the event's mission: to give space to small and medium-sized publishing houses outside the mainstream chains and to promote the neighborhood's green space as a place of shared culture. Admission to all events was free of charge.
