Edition 2025 — Viganella Carnival

In 2025, the Viganella Carnival once again brought life to the Borgomezzavalle community hall in the Antrona Valley with its traditional village festival featuring mountain cuisine, music, and costumes. A classic Carnival event that gathers the upper Ossola community every year around local flavors and traditions.

The Viganella Carnival is a recurring village festival in the municipality of Borgomezzavalle, in the heart of the Antrona Valley (Verbano-Cusio-Ossola province, Piedmont). The 2025 edition renewed the tradition in the community hall with a typical dinner featuring polenta, sausages, gorgonzola, and game meat, evening musical entertainment, and a costumed lunch in the famous village of the mirror. A genuine event that celebrates mountain cuisine and the hospitality of the valley's hamlets.
