Viccio Festival

The 2025 Viccio Festival confirmed the summer appointment in Castel San Lorenzo centered around the 'viccio', the bread ring that local peasant tradition prepared to check the oven's temperature. As every year, the event took place in the area of the Mulino del Principe, the ancient mill built in 1579 and restored in the early 2000s, now identified as the symbolic place of the festival.

The format remained the one that ensured the event's success: food and wine stalls dedicated to the viccio and typical local products, evenings of live music, and entertainment moments designed for families. The organization was also, in that edition, handled by the Youth Forum of Castel San Lorenzo, with the patronage of the municipal administration.

The success of the 2025 edition paved the way for the tenth-year milestone, celebrated with the 10th Viccio Festival from July 30 to August 1, 2026.
