Viareggio Carnival

The 152nd edition of the Viareggio Carnival was held from February 8 to March 4, 2025, along the seaside boulevards of the Versilia town, in the province of Lucca. The six Masked Processions took place on Saturday, February 8, Sunday, February 16, Saturday, February 22, Fat Thursday, February 27, Sunday, March 2, and Fat Tuesday, March 4. The parade featured 9 first-category floats, 4 second-category floats, 8 group masks, and 8 individual masks, with works dedicated to current events and themes with strong satirical impact. The winners were announced during the final parade on March 4, while the official awards ceremony was held on Sunday, March 9. This edition was also enriched by traditional evening neighborhood parties in the districts of Viareggio.
