Viadibanda – Street Arts and Marching Bands Festival

From July 25th to 27th, 2025, San Donato Val di Comino hosted the eleventh edition of Viadibanda, titled "Terra Matta", dedicated to the deep bond with the land, cultural roots, and the community. The historic center of the Comino Valley village came alive with musical bands from all over Italy and abroad, juggling shows, acrobatics, clowning, and theatrical improvisation, creative workshops, and stands with typical local products. The closing evening on Sunday, July 27th, offered a historic moment: seven marching bands united in one grand parade, with over 160 musicians playing simultaneously, conceived as an attempt to enter the Guinness World Records. The edition, directed by Gianluca Terenzi and dedicated to the memory of Carlo Rufo, recorded over 25,000 attendees in three days, confirming Viadibanda as one of the major summer events in Ciociaria and Lazio.
