Edition 2025 — Via dei Corti
Via dei Corti 2025 — 11th edition
The eleventh edition of Via dei Corti was held in Gravina di Catania in November 2025, at the Angelo Musco Auditorium, on the theme "Transformation, from chaos to wonder." The closing ceremony was hosted by Simona Zagarella, Giulia Sapienza, and Ruggero Sardo.
Among the main awards: Best Short Film went to Gli elefanti by Antonio Maria Castaldo (also awarded for direction and soundtrack); Best Documentary to Civico 120 by Lorenzo Sepalone; Best Animated Short to The prompt by Francesco Frisari; Critics' Award to Ha toccato by Giusi Cataldo. The Film in Sicily section awarded L'ultima fila, storia di Pippo Fava by Emanuela Ranucci, while the Globus Award for the promotion of the territory went to Dry Sicily by Mauro Mondello and Nunzio Gringeri.
Special awards included recognition for Sicilian talent to Daniele Ciprì and Salvatore Sanfilippo, and a lifetime achievement award to Aurelio Grimaldi.
