Edition 2025 — Vhoese Carnival
In 2025, the Vhoese Carnival once again renewed its tradition in the village of Vho, a hamlet of Tortona. With workshops dedicated to puppets, shows for children and families, and the unmissable free distribution of polenta and sausages, the festival confirmed its character as a popular celebration linked to the puppet theatre of master Peppino Sarina and the village's rural memory.
The 2025 edition of the Vhoese Carnival kept alive the formula that has characterized the festival in the village of Vho, Tortona, for generations: puppet-making workshops, puppet theatre shows in the village square, and the traditional free distribution of polenta and sausages. A day designed primarily for families and children, following the centuries-old tradition linked to master puppeteer Peppino Sarina and the ancient "rural banquet."
