Edition 2025 — Garlic Fair
In 2025, the Vessalico Garlic Fair once again celebrated the Slow Food Presidium garlic from the Arroscia Valley on July 2nd, featuring producer braids, typical product stalls, tastings, and cooking shows, continuing a tradition documented since 1760.
The 2025 edition of the Vessalico Garlic Fair confirmed the charm of one of Liguria's oldest fairs. The village in the Arroscia Valley came alive with stalls of producers and typical products, tastings, and cooking shows dedicated to Vessalico garlic, a Slow Food Presidium. Thousands of visitors reached the small town in Imperia to buy the characteristic braids and rediscover a product that tells centuries of peasant culture from the Ligurian hinterland.
