Vespri d'Organo a Cristo Re – International Organ Festival

The XXI edition of the International Organ Festival Vespri d'Organo a Cristo Re was held in Pesaro from July 10 to August 20, 2025, with the artistic direction of Giuliana Maccaroni and the support of the Archdiocese of Pesaro and Urbino, the Municipality of Pesaro, the Municipality of Montelabbate, the Municipality of Urbania, the Marche Region, and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pesaro.

Among the most significant events: the opening concert on July 10 at the Chiesa di Cristo Re with Cedric Meckler and Olivier Vernet (France) performing a four-hand organ piece; the evening of July 16 with the reciting voice of Lucia Ferrati and Beppino Delle Vedove on the organ; the recital by Tobias Horn (Germany) on July 18; on August 11 at the Basilica Cattedrale with Gregorian chant by Massimo Malavolta and Filippo Sorcinelli on the organ; the Tourist Mass on August 15 with Martino Pòrcile on the organ; and the closing on August 20 with Gianni Fassetta on the accordion and Maurizio Maffezzoli on the organ. All concerts, with free admission, were held at 9:15 PM.
