Edition 2025 — Vertical Cima Mares
On August 6, 2025, Alpette hosted the Vertical Alpette - Cima Mares, with a start time of 7:30 PM from the Copper Ecomuseum, Via Sereine 1. Athletes tackled an uphill course of approximately 3.4 km with 700 meters of positive elevation gain, from the village center to the summit of Cima Mares.
This evening race, part of the Orco Valley mountain running calendar, combined sport with a summer mountain atmosphere, treating participants to a sunset over the Gran Paradiso peaks along the ascent.
