Vernacolo al Torrione

In the summer of 2025, Vernacolo al Torrione made its debut as part of the municipal "Uno spettacolo d'estate" programme in the Torrione di Santa Brigida garden in Empoli. The first edition featured six vernacular theatre shows performed by local amateur companies, starting at 9:15 PM with tickets at 10 euros, from June 23 to July 14. Alongside the dialect festival, the free Torrione Kids section brought five shows for children and families on Thursday evenings, while two contemporary prose events curated by Giallo Mare Minimal Teatro completed the offering. A debut highly appreciated by the Empoli public, which paved the way for the following edition.
